British Eventing And Forces Equine Launch New Points League

Together with Forces Equine, British Eventing is delighted to announce that riders in both organisations can now look forward to a brand new points league for the 2016 season.

Set up for horse riders in the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Forces, Police and Emergency Services  along with their families, Forces Equine provides a central portal to meet, communicate, share ideas and interact within their equine communities.

The league is being held for Forces Equine registered riders competing at BE80, BE90, BE100 and Novice level with classes throughout the 2016 season, prizes, including BE membership, will be awarded to the winners of the leagues at each level.

Chris Farr, BE Sports Operations Manager commented: “I am delighted that we are able to join with Forces Equine to deliver this new league for the 2016 season.  This is a great opportunity to enable Forces Equine members to enjoy affiliated eventing and compete against their peers through the league.”

Debi Heath-French, CEO and Founder of Forces Equine added; “On behalf of all at Forces Equine HQ and our members, we are honoured to be in partnership with British Eventing, opening new opportunities within this discipline. We are looking forward to an exciting future with this new league and the great opportunities that British Eventing have to offer our members.”

How to take part

All existing and potential Forces Equine members will be invited to register their interest with Forces Equine for this league in 2016.

The riders can then enter any BE events as normal, either buying BE Day Pass Membership or Full Membership depending on their level of competition and personal preference. A full list of BE Membership options can be found at www.britisheventing.com/membership.

How the League works

Forces Equine will calculate the accrued BE points or Foundation Points by each horse and rider combination and update them each month; these rankings will show on both the Forces Equine and BE websites.
